Today was Caleb's graduation. Each senior has a table to display things representing their interests and accomplishments. We included everything from his Greek New Testament, to the antlers from one of his deer, to the guitar, to his Eagle Scout awards, and his awards from MCA.
The tutor they helped in their senior project speaks about them at graduation. This is one of the special things about having a graduating class of 28! Dan Thacher wrote an acrostic to express what he wanted to say about Caleb:
Caleb A Modern Knight
C Chivalrous, Courageous Champion
A Affirming, Attentive Advisor
L Lewis=loving, Loyal Leader (C. S. Lewis)
E Enthusiastic, Encouraging Example
B Bold, Believing Bondservant
A Authentic, Athletic Actor
(he portrayed a bomber pilot in their movie)
(he portrayed a bomber pilot in their movie)
M Mighty, Moral Minister
O Obedient, Observant Outdoorsman

R Relational, Responsible Rock

T Trustworthy, Tender Treasure
I now dub thee, Caleb Conder, a true Modern Knight.
He had him kneel while he read this and then he used a sword to complete the "ceremony." It was so very precious. It touched this mother's heart in the very deepest places. I am so blessed to have such a Godly young man to call my son.
Mr. Snell is another tutor that has been an incredible blessing to each of our three children who have attended MCA.
Doug and Denise (Kregg's brother and his wife) came from Amarillo, Marlene and Audie (Kregg's parents) came from Abilene, Jeremiah and Hannah came from Lubbock, and Mackenzy came in from Abilene to celebrate. We rolled graduation in with Mother's Day and had a wonderful time!
