Matthew 9:27 ff
New American Standard Bible (NASB)
As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed Him, crying out, “Have mercy on us, Son of David!” When He entered the house, the blind men came up to Him, and Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” Then He touched their eyes, saying, “It shall be done to you according to your faith.” And their eyes were opened.
During our recent road trip, we listened to Ben Hur. (Blue Behemoth has lots of wonderful things to download, in case you need a long audiobook for an Epic Road Trip.) I had read it years ago and have seen the old movie version with Charlton Heston several times. You know how it is, though. A great story well told has so many facets, you see fresh perspectives and treasures with each new visit. That was the way it was for me, driving through Missouri and Kentucky and West Virginia, or wherever we were, mile after mile, listening afresh to things I had completely forgotten, or maybe not even noticed the first time through.
