We drove into Amish Country today, but our first stop was Ephrata Cloister. It was fascinating. Begun the year George Washington was born, some of the buildings still contain the original "bones" and many original details. It was so interesting to hear about the founder and how he came to this spot, which was then the very edge of the frontier, to live alone and pursue his relationship with the Lord.
