Our Goofy Scavenger Hunt

Arch
As part of our Thanksgiving celebrations, we had a scavenger hunt. The rules were simple. Find and photograph your group in front of something that begins with every letter of the alphabet. You had to go to a "different place" for each thing, and your whole group had to get out of the vehicle. There were four teams of four people and we had one hour to return to our house with our photos. It was so much fun and was a great activity for a wide rage of ages. So here are the pics from my team! Rah! Rah! Go Team! Even though we didn't come in first, we still had the best team: Josh, and his cousins, Daniel, and Cole.
Buckboard

Cement mixer

Dumpster

Evening Star Street

Fire hydrant

Gate

Horse

"Igloo" (that was Cole's idea! Very creative, don't you think?)

Jeep

Kohl's

"Log" (okay, that's a stretch, but we were almost out of time!)

Mailbox

Nissan

Oil Well (no shortage of those around here!)

Prickly Pear

Quilt

Rattlesnake--thankfully, already dead!

Stop sign

Tank

Utility pole

Volkswagen

Well

"Xyliwhite"

"Yellow post"--our brains were about "give out!"

Zapper! As in "bug zapper"--it's hanging under the awning.
It was a whooping good time! When all the teams returned to the house, there were prizes to be had. The team that had the best time, since all the teams found all 26 letters, got to choose their prizes first, and then 2nd through 4th chose theirs. They were just little cheap prizes like candy bars or water ballons, but it was lots of fun.
