More Adventures From the Smoky Mountains

We have been leaving the campground early and getting back late, packing as much of this beauty into each day as we can. We needed to have the soundtrack from The Last of the Mohicans playing during this drive.
The kids had a great time playing in the river. Of course one child, who shall remain nameless, slipped and fell in over his head while wading in water up to his shins.

Kregg wanted to show everyone how spoiled I am--he is feeding me a hand-dipped bonbon. We visited a craft community where we saw all kinds of amazing handmade things.
This young lady is doing cutaway work on greenware pottery.
Kregg loves to turn things on a potters wheel, so it was fun to watch this artist work.
This precious couple put on a concert for anyone who would listen. They were really talented. Bought a cd. :)
We really needed some hillbilly pictures.
That afternoon, we headed over to Gatlinburg to the big aquarium. It was so fun. It never ceases to amaze me when we witness the variety of His Creation.

There were several of these tanks where you could come up in the middle and watch the inhabitants. Of course, it also afforded opportunities for more silliness.

That was our day for Monday, the 4th. Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday with family and friends, remembering our blessings. Just one last thing before this post ends. This is a video of our free entertainment:
