South Llano River State Park has several bird blinds where you can sit and watch all the different birds come in to feed and play in the water feature. It afforded the perfect opportunity to practice some of the things I'm learning about using my camera in modes other than "automatic." It has been SO MUCH FUN!
This is the first in a little series of bird picture posts because I didn't want to completely wear you out posting all the pictures at once. Many of them, we were able to identify, some we are still working on. I had to drive into the little town of Junction where I can sit in the parking lot of the library to use the internet, even though they are closed. It has been quite an eventful camping trip and I will try to write more soon, but it took these pictures so long to upload from the Suburban that I will have to go recharge my battery before sharing more. Hope everyone is having a lovely week.
