Wildlife Sightings

Besides the birds, we also saw lots of other wildlife during our camping trip to South Llano State Park. I was sitting on a picnic table when this little white tail fawn ran right beside me. Poor little thing seemed to be very confused and lost, but it ran away and we don't know what happened to it.
This little turtle decided it wanted Elizabeth's fish bait. She was able to remove the hook and put him back in the lake.

Elizabeth caught this gar--I wasn't sure quite what to do with it. Kregg wasn't available and so we just let it go after the photo op.

Look at all those teeth!

Do you see that little frog beside the stone?

This is a rock squirrel.

We were driving back to the campsite one evening when we saw this baby armadillo. It's funny how a baby anything is cute.

As wild as all these animals were, the wildest example of life was definitely seen at Scout Camp during the watermelon rumble. Think water polo with a melon instead of a ball.
