I want to encourage you to share with us a testimony of the Lord's Faithfulness to you, to your family. It can be ANYTHING!! Anything at all. Write it just for the occasion, or repost something you wrote 37 years ago. Just testify to how He has shown Himself Faithful in your life, or maybe it's a family story from your grandmother or a cousin that has been passed down. It's all part of Your Family's Heritage of Faith! It can be something as simple as the Spirit reminding you not to lose your temper with your kids, to something that some would call "miracle." It's all about His Faithfulness.
When we write it down, we are creating a testimony that adds to our heritage of Faith. Imagine your children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, being able to read your words telling of our Faithful God! Imagine how collecting these stories into a body of work will create an incredibly powerful witness to future generations! What a gift to give!
Psalm 78
1 My people, hear my teaching;
listen to the words of my mouth.
2 I will open my mouth with a parable;
I will utter hidden things, things from of old—
3 things we have heard and known,
things our ancestors have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their descendants;
we will tell the next generation
the praiseworthy deeds of the LORD,
his power, and the wonders he has done.
5 He decreed statutes for Jacob
and established the law in Israel,
which he commanded our ancestors
to teach their children,
6 so the next generation would know them,
even the children yet to be born,
and they in turn would tell their children.
7 Then they would put their trust in God
and would not forget his deeds
but would keep his commands.
8 They would not be like their ancestors—
a stubborn and rebellious generation,
whose hearts were not loyal to God,
