The Reveal Party

Well, today was the big day!! We drove to Lubbock yesterday to help Hannah, our oldest, finish some projects for the Reveal Party. We worked on some little home improvement items for their new house and helped make decorations and set up for the party. The plan was for each person to guess whether they thought the baby is a boy or a girl. If they guessed boy, they had to wear a stick-on mustache. If a girl, they were to put on a pink tutu. Hannah had already made all the big paper pom-poms to hang from the ceiling over the food and drink tables. She put us all to work and the kids were great helpers.

Elizabeth gluing little mustaches and pink bows to sticks to go in the cupcakes

Helping pin the lining into new curtains

Making paper flowers

Arranging the mini cupcakes

I took a picture of Hannah taking a picture
Even the cups were dressed

The boys always have time to climb a tree

Guests begin to arrive
Then I took a picture of Elizabeth taking a picture

Then Rebekah taking a picture

This little man was so cute in his tutu

Mackenzy our second born is on the right, with two sweet friends

My father in law with his mustache

Jeremiah's grandpa decided to wear his tutu around his neck

The two great-grandmas

Kregg decided to wear his on his arm
Hannah arranging the "pink" group for a photo

The youngest voter with his stick-on mustache

Josh and Ben used extra mustaches for the "uni-brow" look

One of Hannah's dear friends attended the party via Skype

The new papa made the sweetest little speech. Thankfully, Elizabeth recorded it on one of her cameras. I am so thankful for children who know more about electronics than I do!
It's BLUE!!! These little rattles were hidden in the new parent's cupcakes

Since Jeremiah already has a mustache, he stuck his little one on his nose

Now the baby gets to wear one

And even their little Scottie, Posh, got into the act
I have one request. If anyone has a "grandpa" name to suggest, I would love to hear it. My dear husband is leaning toward "Boom-Pa"!! (Swedish, or something, for Grandpa). I am having a hard time imagining hearing that for the next however many years. But if I don't come up with one he likes better, that may be what he chooses. So any suggestions would be appreciated!! Please! :)
