The Gratitude List: May 16

This week, I am thankful for: 

1469. Caleb made it safely to Uganda!!!!!!!!!!!

1466. A most incredible evening
1465. So many friends asking about Caleb
1464. Many days without grass fires
1463. Cooler temperatures that make the drought easier on things
1462. Spiritual discernment to know when to remain silent
1461. Words of encouragement in ministry
1460. Rejoicing with two precious ladies who just found out they
         are expecting
1459. A sweet neighbor's birthday party, complete with an outdoor
         movie
1458. The sound of laughter and a basketball bouncing
1457. Kregg's lesson today on the seasons of life
1456. Flight Tracker so we could see where his plane was
1455. A special dinner on the eve of Caleb's departure for Uganda

1454. Precious prayers and tears from the youngest four for Caleb
1453. Misunderstanding averted
1452. The proper use of new vocabulary words in conversation
1451. Precious texts from Caleb as he prepared to board the flight
1450. Good grades for a diligent son
1449. New faucets next to the orchard, making watering simple
1448. One more day to savor before Caleb leaves
1447. A sympathetic airline employee, helping us with questions
1446. Unlocked cell phones, so Caleb can call us from Uganda
1445. Good health for our entire family
1444. Spending the evening with Caleb, helping him pack
1443. Incredible spiritual discernment in a daughter
1442. Gradual, but marked improvement for one of our young
         scholars, even though he still becomes frustrated
1441. 3 more people willing to read One Thousand Gifts
1440. The opportunity to cast the vision of gratitude for several
         needing Hope
1439. The way the Lord "shows up" in our small groups

1438. A foam snake
1437. A seriously silly school morning
1436. Mercy from others when I forget something
1435. A sweet request for "one more hymn" during school
1434. Hysterically giggling sisters
1433. A safe trip for Mackenzy, driving herself to Kansas City
1432. Freely offered confession of a bad attitude
1431. The costly obedience of a child
1430. Provision for Caleb's trip
