Two Minutes with Mackenzy

You simply never know what she will say next. This is Conder Child #2, aka: Mackenzy. She is a lovely 21 year old who sees all of life in 4D, surround sound with the woofers turned way up.

In the span of two minutes, she told me:

"I want to go to Costa Rica and work on a coffee farm." Then she proceeded to elaborate on the virtues of such a plan, and on Costa Rican coffee.

Next she said, "After Costa Rica, I want to work at SeaWorld and swim around with all the dolphins and orcas." Followed by the elaboration of the virtues part.

Then this, "For Christmas, I wants a dog, a parrot, and a bunny." Elaboration.

Upon completion of her recitation of the many virtues of a menagerie, she broke into a loud rendition of King Louie's song and dance from the Jungle Book.

All this in the last two minutes.

Just another day in the life of Mackenzy's mother.

Can you say, "EXUBERANT?"

P.S. I just showed this post to Mackenzy and she added this interesting, previously unknown information: "I used to have an imaginary pet cheetah that would run beside our vehicle when we went on trips. When it got tired, it would climb in with us. But I can't remember its name. Oh, and I know what I want for Christmas now: a hot air balloon!"

I can't even begin to guess how her "dots will connect"!   :)

  1. I have one like this--my 3rd son, and little life of the party. Or as his oldest brother calls him "the Socializer."
